CCTV
For security and safety during your journey a CCTV system is installed on all Bus Éireann, Dublin Bus and Go-Ahead Ireland buses on the TFI Network.
You can help, by reporting anti-social behaviour or vandalism on board buses or at bus stops. If you witness any anti-social behaviour on the TFI Network, or you felt your safety, security and comfort was compromised, please report the incident by calling:
For issues of a very serious nature, direct contact with the emergency services can be made.
In all situations, it will assist if the date, time, bus route, bus registration number, location and direction of travel are detailed.
CCTV is present all over the Luas system, on trams and at stops. The below supports are also in place for you.
Luas SMS Text Service
To report anti-social behaviour, text LUAS to 51444 with the tram number, your location and a brief statement about the incident.
Luas APP
Download the Luas App available for free on the Apple App and Google Play stores. From there you can use the “Report” function.
Luas WhatsApp messaging service
On your WhatsApp, message “Hi” to 087 055 5715 to start the conversation.
Help Intercoms
On the platform: You can use the Emergency Help Intercom located at the Ticket Vending Machine.
On board: You can use the Emergency Help Intercom On Tram located at the tram door.
Staff
Drivers can be contacted by pressing the Emergency Help Intercom beside tram doors. Please note that fines are in place for improper use of the help intercom. Luas Security and Customer Agents are present On Tram and On Stop to ensure your safety. Speak with any staff member in the event of an incident.
The Text SMS Service is a service which allows customers to discreetly report incidents of anti-social behaviour on board a DART or at a DART station. Text the keyword “TRAIN”, along with your report of anti-social behaviour, to 51444.It’s important that you use the keyword ‘TRAIN’, as the text number 51444 is a Shared Text Service – using “TRAIN” means that the text is directed to Iarnrod Éireann Irish Rail.
