TFI Local Link Louth Meath Fingal is set to introduce a new route 177 bus service, operating between Kells and Ardee from Monday, 9th of December 2024.

Connecting Ireland logo (smaller)The new route is part of the Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan, a major national public transport initiative developed and funded by the National Transport Authority (NTA) as part of the Transport for Ireland (TFI) Network.

Offering improved links to regional bus services, health services and schools

Route 177 will operate five daily return services, enhancing connectivity in the areas of Kells, Carlanstown, Moynalty, Kilmainhamwood, Nobber, Drumconrath and Ardee.

The service will also operate in the evening and at peak-times to provide improved links to regional bus services, Kells Primary Care Centre, Kilmainhamwood Nursing Home, Nobber Library, O’Carolan College and the Ardee Bypass.
