Route WW10 – From the 6th of January, TFI Local Link Carlow Kilkenny Wicklow will introduce a new bus service between Carnew and Baltinglass

Connecting Ireland logo (smaller)This new route is part of the Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan which is a major national public transport initiative developed and funded by the National Transport Authority (NTA) as part of the Transport for Ireland (TFI) Network.

Route WW10 connecting Carnew, Tinahely, Shillelagh, Crossbridge, Hacketstown, Kiltegan and Baltinglass

Route WW10 will operate two daily return services, Monday to Friday, providing enhanced accessibility for residents and visitors alike. The new route includes evening services and will support seamless connectivity to regional bus routes.

This service will link the villages and areas of Shillelagh, Tinahely, Crossbridge, Hacketstown, and Kiltegan, ensuring improved access to key destinations and enhancing regional connectivity.

Speaking ahead of the launch, TFI Local Link Carlow Kilkenny Wicklow General Manager, Jackie Meally said:

This new service will give additional connectivity for Carnew, Tinahely, Shillelagh, Crossbridge, Kiltegan, and Baltinglass and also provide added connectivity to additional onward services.

This new service will be very much welcomed by the people of West Wicklow.
