Temporary bus services for foot passengers using Rosslare Port

A shuttle bus service will operate between O’Hanrahan train station in Wexford and Rosslare port from Saturday 21st December. This service is to cater for foot passengers who may divert from ferries serving Dublin Port as a suspension of Holyhead to Dublin ferry services due to recent storm damage at Holyhead.

Onward bus and rail connections between Wexford and Dublin are available at Wexford.

Bus Shuttle Service

The shuttle service will operate from 21st to 24th December inclusive and from 27th December to 1st January inclusive.

  • The bus signage on the shuttle service will show “Wexford-Rosslare Ferry Shuttle”.
  • The service will be available for free to all passengers with a valid Irish Ferries or Stenaline ticket for Rosslare.
Ticket must be purchased for onward bus and/or rail travel from Wexford

Note that while the shuttle bus service will be free, onward bus services between Wexford and Dublin are operated by Wexford Bus and Expressway, and a ticket must be purchased for carriage on these services.
