The National Transport Authority (NTA) has today launched its new inclusivity campaign, so that the Transport for Ireland (TFI) public transport network can be a space where diversity is not only acknowledged but celebrated. Building on the anti-racism campaigns of previous years, the campaign seeks to promote the network as a welcoming and inclusive environment for all passengers, regardless of their background, abilities, or identity.
The campaign will feature a series of advertisements across buses, trams, and trains, as well as on social media, highlighting the stories of diverse individuals who use public transport daily. With the tagline “Transport for Ireland is Transport for you, transport for everyone“, the campaign emphasizes that every passenger, regardless of their differences, is part of the broader community that makes up Ireland’s public transport network.
Anne Graham, CEO of the NTA, commented, “Our goal with this campaign is to foster an environment where everyone feels comfortable and valued when using public transport. Whether it’s celebrating cultural diversity, supporting those with disabilities, or promoting LGBTQ+ inclusion, we want to ensure that TFI services are a space where difference is embraced.”
The NTA’s inclusivity campaign is set to run for the next few weeks.
