Welcome to #MeetYouDriver; a series championing our TFI Local Link drivers. Today we’re featuring Michael Gorman who has been driving for TFI Local Link Laois Offaly for almost twenty years.
Michael used to work E.S.B power station in Rhode. As the station was closing down, he decided to try and become a bus driver. Working locally, he realised TFI Local Link Laois Offaly offered affordable door-to-door services; and he felt this would be a worthwhile and fulfilling career change.
Michael’s advice to anyone thinking of becoming a bus driver is: “Go for it, because it is a very rewarding, enjoyable job with plenty of variety. You get a great feeling when you have happy passengers on board.”
