Leixlip Main Street will be closed to traffic on Saturday 2 June from 13:00hrs to 22:30hrs, Sunday 3 June from 13:00hrs to 23:30hrs and Monday 4 June from 13:00hrs to 20:00hrs.
As a result the following diversions will apply to Dublin Bus & the 139 service during the above times;
Dublin Bus
Route 66: All buses will take the slip road at McCoy’s Motors and turn left at top of slip road. Past Weston Aerodrome and right at Young’s garage past Hewlett Packard to end of Celbridge road turn left and back on route. This diversion will apply on the inbound journey in reverse, turning left at Young’s garage and back on to normal route.
Route 66a Route & 66n Nitelink: No diversions
Route 66b: Follow same diversion as Route 66 terminating at Louisa Bridge and proceed to next roundabout after Leixlip Sports Centre to turn around at Hewlett Packard. This diversion will apply on the inbound journey in reverse.
Route 139 Operated by JJKavanagh
The 139 bus coming from Blanchardstown will turn left at the bottom of captains hill and go on to the Celbridge road and detour on to the Celbridge Road on to Young’s Cross pass Barnhall Rugby club, Hewlett Packard Factory and back into Leixlip at Galvan’s Cross, that’s the junction between Station road and Celbridge road and reverse when coming from Naas.
During the detour times the only bus stop the 139 won’t be stopping at is Our Lady’s Nativity Church on the way from Naas and St Mary’s Church and Our Lady’s Nativity Church on the way from Blanchardstown.
