TFI Leap Card holders can avail of discounts including fare capping and the TFI 90 Minute Fare. TFI Leap Cards at selected ticket vending machines in “Short Hop Zone” stations, in selected retail outlets, or online through the TFI Leap Card website.

If you use multiple public transport services (Dublin Bus, Go-Ahead Ireland, Luas, DART and commuter rail) throughout a day or a week (Monday-Sunday), we will automatically cap the price so that you will never spend excessively on public transport services.
Once an Adult (using an adult TFI Leap Card) has spent €9.50 on Iarnród Éireann services in one day, they can travel on these services for the rest of the day for free. The same applies for the weekly cap on Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail services; once an Adult spends €37 in one week on these services, they pay nothing additional for the week. Once you have reached the daily or weekly cap, no Travel Credit will be charged on your TFI Leap Card when travelling on applicable services.
Another additional benefit of using a TFI Leap Card is the TFI 90 Minute Fare. TFI 90 includes the option to transfer between Dublin Bus, Luas and most DART, commuter rail (zones 1 to 4 in the Short Hop Zone) and Go-Ahead Ireland services in Dublin – just touch on your last journey within 90 minutes of the first.

Bicycles are welcomed on all Intercity services but some restrictions may apply during peak travel times.
Bicycles are welcomed free of charge on off-peak DART and Commuter services. Bicycles that are folded and covered can be carried on all DART and Commuter services with no time restrictions.
Bicycles are not permitted on DART and Commuter services before 10:00 and between the hours of 15:30 and 19:00 Monday to Friday. Customers can travel with bikes all day Saturday and Sunday.
Bicycle racks where provided, are free for customers who wish to avail of them. Alternatively, bicycle lockers are also available to rent at some stations.
