TFI Driver Check App

The TFI Driver Check app gives users peace of mind when travelling by taxi, hackney, or limousine.  

All of Ireland’s taxis, hackneys, limousines, and all SPSV (Small Public Service Vehicles) drivers are covered by this app. Including rural locations as well as cities such as Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, and Waterford. 

Key features include:  

• • Check the vehicle is registered correctly  
  • Check that the driver has the appropriate license to operate the vehicle  
  • Provides users with a photo of the driver  
  • You can send your journey information to a friend (except the photo)

If the information appears incorrect, you can submit a report. You can also make compliments or complaints.

Please be advised that the National Transport Authority (NTA) are responsible for licencing the vehicles being driven, and An Garda Síochána are responsible for issuing the individual’s driver licence.
