FREE BIKE RENTAL IN BLESSINGTON
Active Wicklow’s mission for Bike Week 2024 is to get as many people as possible out and about exploring Wicklow on two wheels. We delighted to announce that we will be offering free bike rentals from in The Avon for the duration of Bike Week. Located at the stunning Blessington Greenway, The Avon is the perfect starting point for a scenic cycling adventure. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just starting out, this is a fantastic opportunity to explore the beautiful countryside on two wheels. To ensure everyone has a chance to participate, we’re offering a limited number of bikes available for free rental eachday. Pre-booking is essential, so be sure to secure your spot early. To avail of the offer you must book through the Active Wicklow website. LEARN TO CYCLE TINAHELY
This Learn to Cycle Programme is for children who cannot cycle without stabilisers. Priority will be given to children with a disability/ diagnosis for a place on the course. Parent/Carer to stay to support and learn skills for practice between sessions. Own Bike & Helmet is needed. Helmet must be worn during programme, so practice at home might be needed. Programme Outcome: to learn to cycle by learning balance, braking, turning etc. Time: 12:30pm & 1:15pm Date: Sat, May 11th 2024 Location: Tinahely School NS Suitability: Children aged 5-12 For more information click HERE |

This Learn to Cycle Programme is for children who cannot cycle without stabilisers. Priority will be given to children with a disability/ diagnosis for a place on the course.
