GRAND CANAL WHEELERS, DAINGEAN – School Cycle Day (closed event)

Grand Canal Wheelers, Daingean and Daingean National School will be taking part in a school cycle day from Daingean to Ballycommon

GUIDED TOUR OF LOUGH BOORA DISCOVERY PARK

Presented by Lough Boora Discovery Park and Mid Ireland Adventure, celebrate Bike Week with a guided tour of Lough Boora Discovery Park (€10 p/p). Bikes, helmets and guides included in the price

GRAND CANAL GREENWAY CYCLE RELAY 

Join Offaly Sports Partnership for our second annual Grand Canal Greenway Cycle Relay – stages event – along 55km of the Greenway from George’s Bridge, Edenderry to Gallen Bridge, Ferbane.

Time: 9am – 4pm

Date: Saturday, 18th May 2024

Location: Grand Canal Greenway commencing at George’s Bridge, Edenderry & concluding at Gallen Bridge, Ferbane.

Join the event at:

  • George’s Bridge, Edenderry at 9am
  • Toberdaly Bridge, Rhode at 10am
  • Molesworth Bridge, Daingean at 11am
  • Digby Bridge, Cappincur, Tullamore at 12.15pm
  • The Thatch at Rahan at 1.30pm
  • Plunkett Bridge, Pollagh at 2.30pm

Pre booking essential. Bike hire available, please book at registration
