Local employers encourage staff to cycle to and from work during Bike Week. Participating organisations post this on social media, tagging Limerick Sports Partnership and Bike Week 2024. The company with the most social media interactions wins vouchers for local bike shops. INCLUSION COME & TRY CYCLING
To celebrate Bike Week 2024, we are offering free inclusion cycling sessions on the Limerick Greenway. These sessions are guided by Like Bikes and will run from Abbeyfeale. BICYCLE ENGINEERING ACADEMY – OPEN DAY
Come to our open day on Friday in celebration of Bike Week 2024! Get a full tour of our facilities and courses on offer. We offer both full and part time Bicycle Technician and Engineering courses all funded by Limerick Clare Education Training Board (LCETB). Test your fitness on our stationary bike sprint challenge and see if you can top the leaderboard. Prizes to be won on the day! We look forward to seeing you on Friday 17th May. EVENING CITY CYCLE
Join us for a sunset cycle through Limerick City to celebrate Bike Week 2024! Hosted by Limerick City & County Council, Limerick Sports Partnership & Limerick Cycling Campaign, we invite you on a social cycle around our beautiful city. Starting at King John’s Castle, we will follow the iconic 3 Bridges route, taking in the stunning views of the River Shannon. From there we will return to Nicholas Street, where Treaty City Brewery will host us for some light food & refreshments. Dont’ have a bike? No problem! FREE bikes will be available! Cycle for Sick Children Cycling Club are delighted to announce that this year our Awareness Tour will raise funds for the Midwest School for the Deaf. This local school does amazing work with children who need an extra helping hand, and hopefully with our fundraising they can do even more.
