Encourage leisure cycling
To educate the community around the benefits of cycling for health and wellbeing. And to provide education on bike maintenance to promote sustainability.
To raise awareness of cycling in Ballincollig - this Sustainable Travel Park Cycle takes place on 11th May
To introduce new cyclists to the road, bike maintenance, rules of the road, and hand signals - Adults Bike cycle route from Lehanmore Community Centre to Barnes and back approx 10k.
To introduce participants to multi modal travel and to try to develop a community of cyclists - Multi modal leisure cycle using the train to Midleton to meet with the cycle to the sea organisation for a presentation on their greenway sculptures - 12th May
Encourage leisure cycling
To encourage children and adults to adapt safe methods of cycling
Encourage leisure cycling = Long and short cycle options for Active Adult cyclists.
Start Parc ui Chaoimh, cycle along ‘The Line’ to Passage West and back - all welcome, 8 + years old.
Free bike maintenance workshop event at Fountainstown Beach alongside the local farmers market
