After being postponed in June Bike Week 2020 has been rescheduled to 19th – 27th September. Bike Week is a celebration and promotion of all that’s great about bikes and cycling. Held over an extended week each year, with bike themed events organised by local authorities, community groups and cycling groups throughout Ireland.
While Bike Week was postponed in June, many people rediscovered cycling during the restrictions. Bike Week hopes to bring you as many activities as possible this year, within public health guidelines – from free bike checks, fun cycles, lunchtime city rides, heritage cycles, electric bike races, school cycle events, road races and much more. Cycling has much to offer people of every age and ability, get on your bike and join the fun at this year’s Bike Week or anytime.
