Bus Éireann is pleased to announce improved services to Route 354 from Dunmore East to Carrick-on-Suir which came into effect on Sunday, 24th September.
The significantly enhanced Route 354 is part of the Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan, which is a major national public transport initiative developed and funded by the National Transport Authority (NTA) as part of the Transport for Ireland (TFI) Network.
Route 354 will be extended from Portlaw to Carrick-on-Suir, providing seven daily services between Carrick-on-Suir and Waterford via Portlaw. Daily services between Dunmore East and Waterford are also enhanced, providing eleven services Monday to Sunday. The route will also provide later departures to Dunmore East from Carrick-on-Suir at 6.05pm and 9.00pm from Portlaw.
Bus Éireann Route 354 will serve Carrick-on-Suir, Portlaw, Kilmeaden, SETU Campus, Waterford City Centre, Waterford University Hospital and Dunmore East.

Demand for our services in the South is higher now than pre-pandemic, passenger numbers nationally are 20-30% higher than they were in 2019. The enhanced connectivity to Carrick-on-Suir enables us to connect our growing number of customers with who and what matters to them.”
