August Bank Holiday O’Connell Bridge works

From 8pm on Friday July 29th until 6am on Tuesday August 2nd, Dublin’s north and south quays will be closed to eastbound and westbound traffic at O’Connell Bridge to facilitate essential Luas Cross City construction works.

If you are travelling through the city, major traffic diversions will apply. If you are travelling to the city, car park access will be maintained and a number of Public Transport enhancements are being offered. These enhancements include:

• Free parking on Bank Holiday Saturday, Sunday and Monday at Luas and Irish Rail park and ride sites located within the Short Hop Fare Zone
• Additional Luas and Dart services will be in operation on Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday
• Kids go free with a valid Child Leap Card on any Leap Card service for the entire weekend
