TFI Leap Card is the most convenient way to pay your Luas fare. The TFI 90 Minute Fare is just €2 for Adult, €1 for Young Adult/Student and 65c for Child Leap Card holders. The TFI 90 Minute fare applies to most journeys on Luas, however there is a short fare that is cheaper for journeys that are approximately 2-3 KM or less.
When you are availing of the TFI 90 Minute Fare on your Leap Card, you must always Touch On using a Validator on the platform before boarding Luas and Touch Off when leaving Luas. This will ensure you have a valid ticket for your journey and you won’t be at risk of receiving a Luas Standard Fare Notice for €100. It will also ensure you get the best value for your journey.
