This St Brigid’s / Brigit’s Day Bank Holiday weekend there are some transport updates for Dubin worth noting.

  • From Friday 31st January
  • to Monday 3rd February (Public holiday Ireland)

Public Transport updates

  • Check your Bus times – a Sunday timetable will operate on Monday 3 February 2025 on Dublin Bus; details below also on Nitelink and 24-hour services updates for the weekend.
  • The LUAS (tram) has line upgrades over the weekend, temporaily impacting Luas Green Line operating hours – details below,
  • Additional train services / capacity for the getting to and from Aviva Statum on Feb 1st for  Ireland v England Rugby international – details below.

Dublin Bus wishes to advise customers that a Sunday timetable will operate on Monday 3 February 2025.

A full Nitelink service will operate on Friday 31 January and Saturday 1 February 2025.
There will be no Nitelink service on Sunday 2 February 2025.
Dublin Bus has  24-hour services which are in operation seven days a week.

Over the St. Brigid’s Day Bank Holiday weekend, there will be some changes to Luas services.

To facilitate essential engineering works, Luas Green Line operating hours will be temporarily impacted from Friday 31 January until Bank Holiday Monday 3 February.

Luas Red Line operating hours are not affected by these works.

  • Friday 31 January:

  • Saturday 1 February:
    • (Service starts 1 hour later and finishes 1 hour earlier than normal Operating Hours)

    • Brides Glen Northbound 08:00 – 23:00
  • Sunday 2 February:
    • (Service starts 2 hours later and finishes 1 hour earlier than normal Operating Hours)
    • Green Line:
    • Broombridge Southbound 09:31 – 22:17
    • Brides Glen Northbound 10:00 – 22:00
  • Bank Holiday Monday 3 February:
    • (Service starts 2 hours later and finishes normal Sunday Operating Hours)
    • Green Line:
    • Broombridge Southbound 09:31 – 23:17
    • Brides Glen Northbound 10:00 – 23:00

Luas Red Line services are operating Sunday Operating Hours and Frequency on Bank Holiday Monday 3 February.

Trams will run normal Operating Hours and Frequency from Tuesday 4 February.

Take the Train and Enjoy the Game  – to the Six Nations Rugby Championship 2025 match at Aviva Stadium on Saturday 1st February.
