Easter Arrangements 2025

We wish to advise customers of the following Easter weekend service arrangements for Dublin Bus:

Good Friday 18 April 2025
A weekday service will be in operation, including a full Nitelink service.

Easter Saturday 19 April 2025
A Saturday service will be in operation, including a full Nitelink service.

Easter Sunday 20 April 2025
A Sunday service will be in operation, no Nitelink services will operate.

Easter Monday 21 April 2025
A Sunday service will be in operation, no Nitelink services will operate.

    • Saturday 19th April

      Due to Engineering Works between Limerick Junction and Charleville on Saturday 19th April, the following service alterations and amendments will take place:

      • 09:00 Ballybrophy to Limerick is deferred to 10:00
  • Belfast service to/from Connolly station Dublin
      • Saturday 19th, Sunday 20th and Monday 21st April 2025

        Due to engineering works between Clontarf Road and Lisburn on Saturday 19th, Sunday 20th and Monday 21st April (Easter Bank Holiday) Weekend the following transfer journey arrangements will apply:

        • There will be NO train service between Dublin Connolly and Belfast
        • Enterprise Service: will operate as bus transfer between: Dublin Connolly / Drogheda / Dundalk / Newry / Belfast.
        • Passengers travelling to Portadown, change at Newry

      • Due to Engineering Works between Glounthaune and Midleton on the above dates the following service alterations and amendments will take place:
        • 20:15 Cork to Midleton will be substituted by bus transfers direct from Cork to Midleton, second bus transfer from Cork to Littleisland, Glounthaune, Carrigtwohill and Midleton
        • 21:15 Cork to Midleton will be substituted by bus transfers direct from Cork to Midleton, second bus transfer from Cork to Littleisland, Glounthaune, Carrigtwohill and Midleton
        • 22:45 Cork to Midleton will be substituted by bus transfers from Cork to Littleisland, Glounthaune, Carrigtwohill and Midleton
        • 20:45 Midleton to Cork will be substituted by bus transfers direct from Midleton to Cork, second bus transfer from Midleton to Carrigtwohill, Glounthaune, Littleisland and Cork
        • 21:45 Midleton to Cork will be substituted by bus transfers direct from Midleton to Cork, second bus transfer from Midleton to Carrigtwohill, Glounthaune, Littleisland and Cork

  • Cork, Limerick and Tralee Services
    • Saturday 19th April
      • Due to Engineering Works between Limerick Junction and Charleville on Saturday 19th April, the following service alterations and amendments will take place.
        • Cork services will operate every two hours in each direction with altered timings
        • Tralee services will operate every two hours, connecting to and from Cork services at Mallow
        • 17:05hrs Dublin Heuston to Tralee is cancelled. Passengers should board the 17:05 Dublin Heuston to Cork service and change at Mallow for a connecting service. Please note that there will be a delay of 25 – 30 mins from Mallow to Tralee
        • Limerick/Limerick Junction services will operate with altered timings. Limerick Colbert direct serices to and from Dublin Heuston will operate as normal
        • Nenagh Line services will operate with altered timings, please change at Ballybrophy for connecting services.
  • DART Service
    • Saturday 19th, Sunday 20th and Monday 21st April 2025
      • Engineering Works between Clontarf Road and Lisburn on Saturday 19th, Sunday 20th and Monday 21st April (Easter Weekend), the following service alterations and amendments will occur:
        • DART service: there will be no DART service between Dublin Connolly and Malahide / Howth
        • DART services will operate between Dublin Connolly and Bray / Greystones only
        • The following DART stations will be closed: Malahide, Portmarnock, / Clongriffin / Howth / Sutton / Bayside / Howth Junction & Donaghmede / Kilbarrack / Raheny / Harmonstown / Killester and Clontarf Road
  • Northern Commuter service
    • Saturday 19th, Sunday 20th and Monday 21st April, 2025
