Starting in Fitzwilliam Street Upper, passing through Phoenix Park and finishing in Merrion Square close to the historic Trinity College, the Dublin Marathon features a fast and flat course in the city’s heart.

On race day, Sunday 29th October 2023 from 08:45hrs to 16:45hrs, additional temporary road closures will take place along the Marathon route in Phoenix Park, Castleknock Road, College Road, Tower Road, Knockmaroon Road, Inchicore Road, Drimnagh Road, Templeogue Road and Roebuck Road.

 

Train: Irish Rail: Pearce Street and Grand Canal Dock train stationss are within walking distance to Merrion Square and Fitzwilliam Square.

There are regular Train services nationwide to Heuston and Connolly train stations.
