Cork City Council as part of their City Centre Pavement Restoration Scheme will implement road closures in the city centre at St Patrick St (Northbound) & Grand Parade during the summer months.
Details of the diversion routes and closed/replacement stops are shown on the following individual route maps (PDFs).
The diversions are scheduled to be in place from 1 July to 11 August 2024.
The diversions will result is route diversions and stop closures on the following routes
- Route 203
On Route 203, for the duration, services will operate as normal to George’s Quay. Stops at Grand Parade, Daunt Square and St. Patrick’s Street will be closed. Alternative stops will be available at South Mall and Merchant’s Quay. Southbound services will not be affected.
- Route 215
On Route 215, for the duration, services will operate as normal to George’s Quay. Stops at Grand Parade, Daunt Square and St. Patrick’s Street will be closed. Alternative stops will be available at South Mall and Merchant’s Quay. Southbound services will not be affected.
- Route 205
On Route 205, for the duration, services will operate as normal to Mardyke. Stops at Sheare’s Street, Daunt Square and St. Patrick’s Street will be closed. Alternative stops will be available at Lavitt’s Quay and Bridge Street. Southbound services will not be affected.
- Route 208
On Route 208, for the duration, services will operate as normal to Mardyke. Stops at Sheare’s Street, Daunt Square and St. Patrick’s Street will be closed. Alternative stops will be available at Lavitt’s Quay and Bridge Street. Southbound services will not be affected.
- Route 207
On Route 207, for the duration, service from Donnybrook to Glenheights will operate as normal to George’s Quay. Stops at Grand Parade, Daunt Square, St. Patrick’s Street and MacCurtain Street will be closed, and alternative stops will be available at South Mall, Summerhill North. Services from Glenheights to Donnybrook will not be affected.

- Route 214
On Route 214, for the duration, service from CUH to Glyntown will operate as normal to Wandesford Quay. Stops at Daunt Square, St. Patrick’s Street and MacCurtain Street will be closed, and alternative stops will be available at South Mall, Deane Street and Lower Glanmire Road. Services from Glyntown to CUH will not be affected.
