American Football  Notre Dame Vs Navy at Aviva Stadium in Dublin

The events on Saturday August 26th include

  1. Mass in Dublin Castle at 11am, which concludes by 12:10pm.
  2. The Notre Dame 800 piece band will lead out everyone from Dublin Castle to Notre Dame Street ( Dame Street) for pre-game festivities.
  3. Dublin City Council has organised Notre Dame Street and it is being run on the day by Davis events.  It will have various activations, bars and music and all the screens will contain our transport information to get to the AVIVA stadium.
  4. Those attending the match should start moving by 5pm towards the AVIVA as the kick off time is 7:30pm

Diversions due to Aer Lingus College Football Event 2023

Dublin Bus wishes to advise customers that due to the Aer Lingus College Football Event 2023 a number of diversions will be in place across Dublin city centre from 20.00hrs on Friday 25 August until 23.50hrs on Saturday 26 August 2023.

Coach tours pick-up on Dame Street

Dublin City Council have advised that tours that would usually pick-up on Dame Street have been approved to relocate to Cook Street for the duration the above closures.

Aviva Stadium days and events:
There is no bike parking or car parking available at Aviva Stadium on match day/ concerts for security reasons.

From Nassau Street at Trinity College (city centre), travel along Merrion Square and Lower Mount Street. Cross the canal and continue along Northumberland Road to the second set of lights. Turn left onto Lansdowne Road. Continue through the next junction. Aviva Stadium is on your left.

There is a car park located just past entrance A on the right hand side also. The car park has an hourly and daily max charge and is open 24 hours per day. This car park is not available on match days as the surrounding roads are closed.

You can take a taxi to the Aviva Stadium.

If you are travelling from the city centre it can take anywhere between 9 and 16 minutes, depending on traffic.
