Happy Pride!
The theme for this year’s Pride is Shine, and the Transport for Ireland Network shines bright with pride, not just this year but every year.
50 years ago, Ireland saw its first-ever public gay rights demonstration and 2024 offers the chance to look back on how far we’ve come as a nation.
While our little island continues to grow, so does our public transport network. With more 308 million passenger journeys recorded during 2023, we will continue providing a service where diversity thrives and equality flourishes.
With the growing number of pride festivities across the country, Transport for Ireland are excited to provide you all with connections to this year’s events.
This could mean there may be extra public transport services added. There may be diversions in place across your usual journey, but we will try our best to get you to your destination with as little interference as possible.

Irish Rail will have crowd control measures in place in Dublin City Centre stations to ensure capacity is maximised on DART and Commuter trains.
