A school-wide Bike Week celebration at Tinryland National School Co. Carlow featuring a cycling competition, class workshops with a visiting instructor, and encouragement for pupils to cycle to school.
A guided cycle through a scale model of the solar system from the Sun at Patricks Bridge to Neptune at Blackrock Castle Observatory, Co. Cork. We will "visit" each planet in turn, learn a little about it, get a feeling of the scale of the solar system and have some fun on the way.

Free lunch for the first 100 cyclists - Taking place on Wednesday 14th May from 12.30pm at Fitzgerald's Park, drop in over lunchtime for some free picnic treats, bike games, a Bike Doc as well as chats and company with other cyclists.
Tir Chonaill GAP will host two Bike Week events: an introductory mountain biking session on new Coillte trails, and a safe 40km road cycle using the new N56 cycle path. Join us for a fun celebration of cycling culture in Cork (+ a free picnic and live music). You can join us from 3pm for a Festive Picnic, Music and Games at the Lough.
Just turn up on your bike at the Lough, Cork City -We'll have a soft drink, salad, bread and meat/vegan option for each cyclists and please feel free to bring along picnic rugs, folding chairs, more food drinks etc.
After the Picnic we'll have a relaxed social evening in the pleasant surroundings of the Lough as well as some bike games and live Music.
An evening of bike skills and fun family cycling on Sunday, May 18th from 6pm at the Horse and Jockey. Including a bike maintenance talk at 6pm, followed by kids’ and adult cycles at 7pm. Refreshments after!
