Scoil Naomh Mhuire has an action-packed Bike Week planned, including a bike safety talk, a whole-school cycling challenge, a safety poster competition, and a fun cycle for senior classes.
Bike Fun Day rewards children who cycle to school during Bike Week with fun activities in the school yard. Led by teacher Luke Cape and pro cyclist Mitchell McLaughlin, kids will enjoy cycling challenges, prizes, and refreshments. It’s a fun, active event that promotes bike skills, confidence, and healthy habits!
Lynx Cycling Club and St Cynoc’s National School, will be taking part in a school cycle day in Ferbane Offaly as part of Bike Week on 16th May
Students form the Senior classes of Moyle NS will cycle to the shore nearby their school and conduct a Spring Clean of the shore on arrival. Infant Classes will cycle around the school. The day will conclude with a picnic for all children with parents invited also. A bike mechanic will be on hand on the day to carry out any minor repairs required.
Pupils from schools across Kilkenny will have an intro to mountain biking, wrapping up with fun grass track racing, organised with Cycling Ireland for Bike Week.

Our preschool children will be encouraged to bike to school, for those who do not have bikes we can provide them. Then we will have our second bike race along the Brosna View Green,
On May 16th, CFFAM will host two free guided cycling tours on Arranmore Island for National Bike Week. Open to all ages, the event promotes health, sustainability, and local heritage, with bike loans, safety gear, refreshments, and a raffle. Tours begin at Arranmore Community Hall.
Open to the public. No booking required. Come along and give it a go!

This cycle will be shorter flatter, slower and involve a lot of off road route and so be particularly suited to less confident cyclists.
Our older adult cycle for Bike Week will take place on Friday the 16th of May at 3pm from Richmond Harbour in Clondra. The guided cycle will take place along the Royal Canal Greenway from Clondra to Killashee and back, a distance of 15km.

Enjoy a free scenic cycle from Crough Wood to Kilclooney Woods, followed by a hike up to Coumshingaun Lake, and then cycle back.

A relaxed social tour of a number of Cork City Galleries' current exhibitions for Bike Week: see works of art, cultured conversation, sophisticated canopies, and a lovely evening cycle. Limited to 20 participants due to gallery capacity so please book your space to avoid disappointment.
The event is a Ladies only cycle, using a 40km loop out from Termon, Kilmacrennan, Ramelton, Milford and back to Termon. There will be a food stop providing strawberries and chat. The event is an opportunity for non-members to take part in a fully marshalled and organised ride at a pace that suits.
