Breffni Wheelers Cycling Club are holding a fun, non-competitive, grass track event for Primary School age children. There will be a mix of skill challenges and mini-races.
For Youths 10-17 only - to learn core mountain biking skills from an expert including; Track Stands, Manual Drops, Front Wheel lifts, Bunny Hop, Cornering and Body position. Taking place at Mullaghmeen Forest Park, organised by Mullaghmeen Mountain Bike Club and Cavan Sports Partnership

As our pupils have additional needs, and for their safety, our pupils will experience how to use a scooter safely an outlined trail in our court area of the school grounds. Pupils that are unable to use a scooter will be given the opportunity to apply their skills on a tricycle. All pupils will experience wearing a safety bicycle helmet, and a high visibility jacket. Fun will be the aim of the lesson to allow the pupils engage to their best potential.
Learn how to check your bike, spot problems before they are serious and fix simple problems like adjusting brakes, changing brake pads or tubes.
Or have me pump up your tyres, adjust your gears and brakes, oil everything and check everything is in safe working order.
