Hop on your bike and challenge yourself to complete a 25km cycle within the designated week of 10th to 18th May. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or a casual rider, this event is open to all skill levels. Gorey Bike Fest & Family Slow Roll Cycle is a family friendly event focused on all things cycling. There's something for all ages, from balance bikes to eBike demos. “Slow Roll,” a fun all-ages cycle from the park to the town centre and back again. Everyone taking part will receive a refreshment voucher for The Coffee Pod.

Off-road cycling workshops for schools county wide to master trail techniques, improve handling, and conquer any terrain with confidence for Bike Week
Students in the junior classes (2nd 3rd 4th) will cycle laps of the school yard, each student will aim to complete a kilometre daily.
Senior classes (5th & 6th) will use an exercise bike and the ZWift app to complete challenges. Students will be encouraged to cycle to school each day Mon - Fri during the week.

Range of Events for Bike Week at Lawrencetown National School Galway
A school-wide Bike Week celebration at Tinryland National School Co. Carlow featuring a cycling competition, class workshops with a visiting instructor, and encouragement for pupils to cycle to school.
Wheels For all is suitable for all ages and levels. This cycle is inclusive for families that have children with disabilities. This cycle will help promote awareness and safety when on bikes. This will take place at Manulla Football CLub at F23 KF66.

Students from Ursuline College will embark on a 17km round trip from the school to Strandhill village, Co. Sligo breaking there for ice-cream before returning along the same route back to the school.
