On Thursday, 15th May, children will enjoy a special visit from Mitchell McLaughlin, a pro cyclist and tandem rider who competed in the 2024 Paris Paralympics.
Over a two-hour afternoon, class groups will meet Mitchell for a 20-minute presentation, where he’ll share stories from Paris, his racing career across Europe, and what drives him as an athlete.
He’ll also bring along his bikes and jerseys, giving students a closer look at professional cycling. After the talk, children will have the chance to ask questions, making this an inspiring and interactive session about sport, motivation, and reaching your goals.
