On Tuesday, 13th May, Donegal County Council will host a fun-filled 6km lunchtime cycle around Donegal Town as part of National Bike Week 2025.
The event celebrates cycling as a popular, accessible activity—whether for leisure, commuting, or adventure.
Participants will pick up simple cycling safety tips to enhance their enjoyment and confidence on two wheels. Staff from the Donegal Public Services Centre will take part in the leisurely ride, enjoy a healthy lunch, and hear about the physical and mental health benefits of regular exercise.
The event will also highlight the Cycle to Work Scheme and feature electric bike trials.
