Glenties – Doctor Bike and Introduction to Road Biking

May 17 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

On 17th May from 9am as part of Bike Week, local bike mechanics will be on hand to provide free bike “M-checks”, ensuring bikes are safe and roadworthy – at Glenties, Co. Donegal.

The checks will cover wheels, brakes, pedals, gears, seat height, and tyre pressure, with minor adjustments and replacements like tubes or cables included if needed.

While waiting, participants can enjoy tea, coffee, and bike chats with volunteers, who will also offer tips on basic cycling skills.

This service is open to all, regardless of whether they join the ride.

Afterwards, participants are invited to take part in a relaxed, 10km cycle along the scenic cycle path.
